Zenith

Privacy Policy — Effective August 4, 2026

1. Introduction

Zenith is a game developed by averyio. We built Zenith to be a local-first, private app — your best level, your settings and your climb belong to you, and we deliberately do not collect, store or share your personal information. This policy explains exactly what happens with your data.

2. Information Collection and Use

Zenith does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There is no app-level account, no sign-up, no login. Your best level and your game settings (ambience, sounds, haptics) are stored locally on your device and nowhere else.

If you play with Game Center (see section 6), your best level is submitted through Apple's Game Center so you can compete with other players on the leaderboard. It is never transmitted to a server operated by averyio — we do not operate one.

3. Purchases

Zenith is a paid app: you buy it once, up front, on the App Store — and that is the entire business model. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no consumables and no ads. The sale is processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store; averyio does not see, receive, or store your payment credentials at any point.

4. Analytics and Usage Data

Zenith does not include any third-party analytics SDK, telemetry library, or in-app tracking. The App Store privacy nutrition label declares "Data Not Collected", and that is literally the case.

Apple may, separately and only with your consent, provide developers with anonymous, aggregated metrics through App Store Connect — such as download counts, crash reports, and session counts. These reports contain no personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to an individual user. You can opt out of sharing this data with developers at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

5. Third-Party Services and Advertising

Zenith does not display advertisements, does not use ad networks, and does not embed third-party tracking or marketing tools. The game plays entirely offline. The only external service Zenith talks to is Apple's Game Center, for the optional leaderboard — which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

6. Game Center Leaderboard

Zenith has a single Game Center leaderboard — Highest Level — so you can see how near the zenith you have climbed compared with other players. Whether it is active simply follows your device: if you are signed into Game Center on your device, Zenith submits your best level when you set a new personal best; if you are not signed in, nothing is ever sent, and the full game plays exactly the same.

The leaderboard is, by design:

You can manage or turn off Game Center — for Zenith specifically or entirely — at any time in iOS Settings > Game Center. If you sign in later, your existing best level is submitted at that point, so nothing is lost by waiting.

7. Children's Privacy

Zenith is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because the app does not collect any personal information from any user, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The optional Game Center leaderboard is provided by Apple and subject to Apple's own protections and parental controls. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through the app, please contact us so we can address it.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app or to clarify our practices. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
