1. Introduction
Welcome to Stuffed: Savings Challenge ("Stuffed"), an application developed by averyio ("we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the Stuffed app, how it is used, and how it is protected. By downloading and using Stuffed, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
2. Information Collection and Use
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. Stuffed is designed to work without an account, an email address, a bank connection, or any other personal details, and it never asks for them.
Your challenges and envelopes: the challenges you set up and everything you record in them — envelopes, amounts, the dates you stuff them, and anything you write on an envelope — are stored in the app's own data on your device, where the Stuffed widgets read them to show your progress. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. If you back up your device to iCloud or to a computer, they are included in that backup like any other app's data, under your own Apple account and Apple's terms. No server of ours ever receives them.
Settings: your preferences, such as reminder times, sounds, haptics and your default currency, are stored on your device in the same way.
Sharing, printing and exports: when you share a progress card, print a tracker or export your data as a CSV file, the image, PDF or file is created on your device and handed to the app, printer or person you choose through the iOS share sheet. Nothing is sent to us.
3. Purchases
Stuffed is a paid app with a one-time upfront purchase. It contains no In-App Purchases and no subscriptions.
Payment Processing: Your initial purchase is processed directly and securely by Apple via the App Store.
Data Access: We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID credentials. We only receive anonymized confirmation from Apple that a purchase has taken place.
For more information on how Apple handles your payment data, please review the Apple Privacy Policy.
4. Analytics and Usage Data
We do not use any third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.) within Stuffed.
We only have access to anonymized, aggregated analytics provided by Apple App Store Connect. This data is entirely controlled by your iOS device settings and is only shared with us if you have opted in to share app analytics with developers.
This data may include:
- App crash reports
- Number of downloads and deletions
- General usage metrics (e.g., sessions per active device)
This information is strictly used to identify bugs, improve the app's performance, and understand general user engagement. It cannot be used to identify you personally. You can change your analytics sharing preferences at any time in your iOS device Settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements).
5. Third-Party Services and Advertising
No Ads: Stuffed does not display any advertisements.
No Tracking: We do not use any third-party tracking software, advertising networks, or SDKs that collect data on our behalf.
Network Access: Stuffed works entirely offline and makes no network requests. It never connects to a bank or to any server of ours. The one web link in the app, "More from averyio" in its Settings, opens our website in Safari when you tap it; the website has its own privacy notice. No third party receives any data from Stuffed.
Ratings and Reviews: Stuffed may ask once whether you would like to rate it, using Apple's standard in-app rating prompt. It asks after you stuff your first envelope, once you are back on the Today screen with your new total showing, and never again after that. iOS decides whether the prompt actually appears and shows it no more than three times in any 365-day period. A rating or review you leave goes from your device directly to Apple and is handled under the Apple Privacy Policy; the app never sees it, and we receive nothing from the prompt itself — not even whether you rated. Ratings and written reviews reach us only as Apple publishes them on the App Store. To remember that it has asked, the app keeps a single yes-or-no setting on your device; nothing is sent to us. You can turn these prompts off for every app in Settings > App Store > In-App Ratings & Reviews.
6. Permissions
Notifications (optional): If you turn on reminders, Stuffed asks for permission to send notifications. Reminders are scheduled on your device for the times you choose, are delivered by your device itself rather than by any server, and only tell you that an envelope is waiting. You can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
Photos (optional, add only): If you choose Save Image when sharing a progress card, iOS asks whether Stuffed may add the image to your photo library. This permission only lets Stuffed add images: it never reads, browses or uploads your photos.
Stuffed does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any other sensitive data on your device.
7. Your Data and Deleting It
Everything you enter stays under your control. From the Your Data section of the app's own Settings tab you can export all of it as a CSV file, or erase all of it. Deleting the app also deletes its data from your device. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete or hand over.
8. Children's Privacy
Stuffed does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and publishing the updated policy within the app or on its App Store listing.
